What size is standard? 

We size all our beds in Imperial, but we do make Metric sized beds too. Metric and Imperial sizes are not the same measurement:

Can I buy a bespoke size bed?  

A Please call our sales team with your size requirement or template of the shape required and our team will be happy to supply a quotation. Springs are measured in approximately 3” increments, length and width.

What are your credit terms and how can I pay? 

If you are an account holder, our terms are payable 28 days.  A proforma payment is required on first orders, until an account has been set up.  We accept payment via BACS, cleared cheque, cash and we accept all credit and debit cards.

How can I place an order? 

A Take a look around the website or brochure and see which of our products you would like.  You can call our offices for a chat with our sales team or ask for a quotation.  Choose the mattress and then the base to accompany it and then advise on any specification changes you might want: Size, base colour, on legs, with zip and link facility, with storage, firmer, softer, with butterfly edge supports etc  Add any accessories you might need.  Then you are welcome to send your written order by email or by fax to 0151 548 1131 or by letter to Marl Road, Knowsley Industrial Park, Liverpool, L33 7UH.

Do you offer an installation and assembly service to site? 

A Please call us for a quotation and tell us the quantity, site access availability, number of floors and we will deliver, install, assemble and remove all packaging from site.

Q Do you offer a guarantee? 

A  Products carry a minimum one year manufacturers guarantee, and warranties are available.  In the unlikely event of a fault, just call us on 0151 548 1554 and we will immediately arrange an inspection and then if necessary a  repair or if this is not viable, then a replacement.

Q Why is turning so important? 

A  Settlement should be expected in all mattresses – this is to be expected as the springs move individually while the fillings cradle your body. Regular maintenance will help the fillings settle and compact down more evenly.  Please follow our turning and handling instructions enclosed with your items, which are to turn and rotate monthly. Non Turn mattresses are to be rotated only and not turned.  Handles are intended to help position the mattress correctly on the base. Handles are not designed to carry the full weight of a mattress.

Q Why do I need an Fire Regulated mattress?

A  It is a legal requirement that contract beds must conform to the Fire Regulations BS7177 (1996) fire retardancy level source 5. Failure to comply with these can result in a shut-down of your business, but in turn having a fire test composite can only benefit your insurance premium. Domestic mattresses are not to be used in a business setting. The fillings used in any mattress must conform to the requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings Fire Safety Regulations 1988. If a mattress is to be used in high risk areas such as oil rigs, mental institutions, prisons etc Ignition source 7 is required, otherwise medium hazard Ignition source 5 is adequate providing that issues such as fire detection, alarm systems, escape routes, etc all comply.
